Dive! Dive! The Urgency of Going Deeper
In one scene from the1995 movie "Crimson Tide", a U.S. Navy nuclear submarine is suddenly threatened by enemy forces. The Commander swiftly gives an urgent order to "Dive! Dive!". In a flash, his order to go deeper under the sea is obeyed and the dangerous attack is averted. In life, there are times when we are required to go deeper for any number of reasons. Perhaps it is to avoid a situation, person, or mindset that could do us harm. Or maybe going deeper will uncover a greater life purpose or delayed reward. On the other hand, it may simply be the time to take a look beneath the surface of issues in our lives to get different perspectives and create new visions. We may resist, fear, or resent the inner command to go deeper, but when it persists we must submit to its urgency. How can you benefit from going deeper in some area of your life?
